The positive is that this is extremely durable and well made. There is a very secure rope and a pocket on the back so you can put catnip in there. However the rope is too long. I went around my whole house looking for a place to hang it. I don’t want to drill new holes into the wall and the rope is long enough that it almost touches the ground from a door knob. So I jammed the rope behind the handle of the dead bolt. My cat is full grown and big. She showed marginal interest and moved on I don’t think she scratched it once, she has scratch pads elsewhere that she uses. I think kittens would enjoy this but the older that cats get the more selective they are.
