I haven’t had a chance to actually complete any of these diamond painting ornaments yet, so I’ll base this review on how the kit seems (and other impressions) and will update this review if I find I have something more to say after completing one or more of the ornaments….First off, this kit is a pretty good deal…many similar ones are more expensive, per piece. The plastic shapes to be decorated (butterflies, birds, and dragonflies) are pretty and well shaped, and the symbols are very readable. As with most non-canvas diamond painting kits, this uses the more translucent, gem-like drills. The kit also comes with two sets of the basic pink pen, square of wax, and green tray combo, so I guess you could have fun completing these together with a friend or family member.The kit also includes large, clear, jewel-shaped things to attach to the end of the chain…ideal for using these as decorative hanging ornaments, but no so much if you want to use these as keychains, given their large size (see photo with car key for scale). There is a clip that could be used to hold a couple of keys, but, unless you carry a large bag/purse, I’m not sure how practical these are as keychains. (I guess they could be nice for hanging up the key to the restroom in a nice store, like maybe an independent bookstores or something?)I’m definitely looking forward to completing these…a few of these, a pen or tweezers, the tray, and three kitted-up strip containers of drills could make a great little travel kit!
