I watched the YouTube video before I tried putting the tail bag on the horse. The instruction video was only 90 seconds long, yet was very informative. I would have had trouble visualizing how to use the tail bag if I had not watched the clear and succinct video first. I would recommend that you do not try to figure out how to use the tail bag on your own. The instruction video is helpful and well worth watching.Well informed on the instructions, it was very, very easy to put the tail bag on the horse tail. It was much easier than tying the tail up out of the way. The tail bag is large enough and wide enough to hold even a gypsy vanner’s bulky, extra-thick tail.The tail bag is made of a sturdy material that will be resistant to wear. It is well made with solid stitching. It should last a long time, even if the horse flicks it around while wearing it on their tail.The way the tail bag is designed to fasten on should prevent the horse from being able to flick it off. The gathers at the top and the velcro strap across the top work together to keep the tail bag properly on the tail with little worry of it coming loose.Overall very pleased and this will assist with hoof trimming and keeping weeds out considerably
