Cashel Rubber Bell Boots XL Black
$ 7.76
So far these are holding up well. I leave them on my warmblood gelding 24/7. They are true to size (large enough). They don’t rub his heels and are easy enough to take on and off. The Velcro gets embedded with hay and dirt but it hasn’t affected them staying on. The Velcro stays “grippy”. I dont know why it says “no turn” because they definitely do turn. This hasn’t been a problem though. They seem sturdy enough to take a few knocks. I don’t like the typical “no-turn” boots because those have a knob that sits in the heel bulb to keep the boot from turning. That knob usually wears a sore on my horse’s heels. These do not have the knob in the back and are free to turn in circles – which is not a problem because the Velcro closure seems strong enough even if the horse strikes it with a rear hoof while overreaching. Everyone has their preferences, but for me these boots are working out great so far and are large enough. They are sized to actually fit large horse hooves. Before these I ordered 3 other pairs of boots in large and extra large in other brands only to return them for being too small. These are “regularly” sized in my opinion.
