Despite its sheet metal appearance, it is very strong and can handle extra weight on top very well. So far this was used to aerate roughly 6 acres and have not had any breakages or wear yet. Assembly was easy with the provided instructions. The 48-in model is perfect for larger yards, but with added weight may require a little bit of extra power than some smaller lawn mowers may have. With our ATV, I was able to run at about 5 mph. The plugs it produced were small despite deep holes, and the plugs disappeared after a couple mowings, though they could be lawn raked up.
